THE “P” TALKS!

ALFRED VARGAS ON HIS BROTHER’S FILING OF COC shared a message on his social media accounts.
Declared Representative Alfred, the last termer representative of the 5th District of Quezon City, “I am proud of PM. He is a natural when it comes to connecting with people and he has an instinct for feeling and understanding their needs. Mataas rin ang ’empathy quotient’ niya. Minana namin Kay Mommy.
“His decision to run for a congressional seat made me emotional on so many fronts. Naalala ko si Mommy and how she would have been proud of her youngest son. Public service is one of her legacies which has inspired all her children not only to be of help to the less fortunate and disadvantaged but to effect positive change. Si PM ang isang matibay na sandalan ko sa tatlong termino ko bilang congresista. He would support me in all my initiatives no matter how unpopular they may be. Pag kailangan, dapat may pagkilos anuman ang balakid, he would reassure me. Kinausap niya ako bago siya nag file ng COC. Sabi niya, ‘dapat pang ituloy ang lahat ng iyong ipinaglalaban, Kuya. I understand your cause and vision. And because of that, I will run. Your positive effect on the lives of our ka-distritos has to continue. I will do it for your constituents. You and I owe them that.’ Then I knew, my brother and I are one.”
Rep. VARGAS, a TOYM awardee, a consistent recipient of recognitions and awards on his performance as a congressman, a multi awarded actor and producer, a family man is also a proud brother to PM.
“I am supporting his candidacy because I believe in what he stands for. I’ve known him all his life. We come from the same tree and the fruit never falls far from it. I am proud of PM but I am sure Mom and Dad are even prouder of him.”
ANOTHER brother (of his Kuya Anjo and Ryan), Jomari Yllana is a third termer in the 1st District of Parañaque as a Councilor.
Anjo is running for Congress in their hometown province in Camarines Sur. And Ryan as Councilor, in Parañaque, too.
Jomari and Ryan filed their CoCs on the same day. While Anjo at another time in Bicol.
Anjo shared a bit of trivia about politics in their clan.
“Thank you Mr. Marlon De Guzman for asking about how I am related with the Garchitorena family there in Municipality of Tigaon. Your question is very significant and now I will share to you the history of the Garchitorena family in Camarines Sur specially in Tigaon and in the Municipality of Garchitorena.
“Let’s start with my Great Grand Father Don Andres Garchitorena. I hope that thru this post you can learn more about the History of Partido and why the name GARCHITORENA is prominent in our district and in Camarines Sur. My grandfather’s name is Salvador Garchitorena (My Mom’s Father) the son of Don Andres Garchitorena, Salvador’s Brothers are Thomas And Mariano Garchitorena. Also note my Uncle Francis Garchitorena.
“This information is based from Wikipedia a reliable source of information that I consider as a modern Encylopedia in this era. In Bicol, kamo man po gabos na curious o ugwang ihahapot sako feel free to ask any questions pertaining to my candidacy as a congressman of the Fourth district “Partido”, Camarines Sur. Dae lang po kamo mag hapot about sa love life ko.
As Jomari shared in a ZoomCon days ago, it is the Matriarch of the Family who is considered the wings beneath their wings, in as far as being in Politics is concerned.
But for now, konting sakripisyo muna. I already nixed several projects. Sa TV ‘yung “FPJ Ang Probinsyano” and sa movie, ‘yung project nina Direk Erik Matti and Dondon Monteverde, ‘yung “OTJ” (On The Job). Matitindi at tatatak na characters sana. I had to make a choice. At sa ikatlong term o pagkakataon, handa pa rin ako, pati na ang mga kapatid ko na mag-serbisyo sa publiko.”
THOUGH NO MA BAKERS, the Vargas’ Mommy Dearest in Heaven surely is proud of the achievements his sons have brought her and the family. And the Yllanas’ Mommy Vee grins her widest and sweetest smile with the endeavors the brothers are doing in their roles, in the public eye at that!
Be the best men to win!
