LET’S PUSH THIS!

The “P” TALKS!

BY: Pilar Mateo

WHO HE IS.

Art Halili, Jr. Never heard? Now, we will. This member of the LGBTQIA community was born on March 11.

He is a father of two.

He graduated with a degree in BS Education from UP Diliman and had his masteral there as well.

He struggled and found himself as a Licensed real estate broker over the years. And spent his time in being a SPED teacher for 10 years, too.

“I tried. And I see to it na kahit online show siya ay parang sa TV and may quality na show siya.

“So now, nagkaroon kami ng shows at K5 digital media.

“There’s “Lets Talk About K” hosted by Keanna Reeves and Mr. Manhunt Philippines (2019) Dom Corilla every Friday from 5-7 pm; “The Mel and Toni show hosted by Mel Martinez and Toni Co every Tuesday from 7-8 pm; “It’s A Lovely Day hosted by Lovely Rivero and Jose Sacramento with influencers Christian Antolin and Bhie where there is a surprsise segment co-host every Sunday, from 11 am-12 noon; and itong bagong ni-launch namin na “Push Mo ‘Yan” hosted by Arnell Ignacio and Keanna Reeves every Saturday from 7-8 in the evening.

“Coming very soon are “Whats The Buzz”, hosted by Direk Romm Burlat, Zara Lopez , Sabrina M. and Kristine Quinto; “Doon Po Sa Amin” hosted by Leo Martinez; “Magandang LIFE!” with Glenda Garcia and Melissa Mendez and a surprise co-host; “Tara Let’s”, ang aming noontime show, from Monday to Saturday, from 12noon-2 pm (where sobra’ng dami ng papremyo ang naghihintay sa viewers).”

Invited to the premiere showing of the Arnell-Keanna talk show, “Push Mo ‘Yan” last Saturday, it was not just a glimpse but an experience of the tandem the duo has established since their “Patol” radio show on TV5.

Said Arnell, “Gamay na namin ang isa’t isa. Ito’ng babae’ng ito is very witty. You can discuss anything and everything with her. At ang tapang. Kaya naman, what we are doing now in the show is to give our opinions over some matters.”

Not afraid of the bashers or haters they will encounter with each episode, Keanna says that “Hindi naman na kami takot sa kanila.

True to what they said, “Push Mo ‘Yan” was a ni-holds barred talk show, thanks to the guidance of Art and Marie Aquilisan and the able staff on hand to check on matters that the duo are discussing.

Endorsed by Senator Bong Go, Usec. Benny Antiporda, Ai Ai delas Alas and husband Gerard Sibayan, Dominic Ochoa, Ritz Azul, and more, the gaps segueing to the commercials are filled with lots of sponsors like Joel Cruz’ Aficionado Perfumes, PotPot Delivery, TakoyaTea and a lot to fill one’s loot bag!

No holds barred. How far will they go?

Said Arnell, “There are things or issues to be taken lightly, and seriously. If they will listen carefully, kahit nagpapatawa kami, may tinutumbok ng mga sinasabi namin. Like dapat bang Ibalik ang ROTC? O ‘yung pagsusuot ng face shields. Ang daming mapaguusapan sa nangyayari sa buhay natin dito. all we need to have eh, mga mata, tenga, bibig to address such!”

Their names are synonymous with fun and laughter. But in their show, they are pushing to show what and how we are all in our lives.

No pun intended! Or just word play? (30)
