From the words of an award-winning actress who has worked with the best and the brightest stars in the industry, Ms. Chanda Romero can gauge who has the potential to make it in the acting department.

Chanda is part of the soon-to-be released “Silab” of Len Carrilo’s 3:16 Media Network. Cloe is being managed by 3:16 Media Network, as well as her leading man, also a newbie Marco Gomez.

“Maikli lang ang role ko in “Silab”, as Cloe’s mother. Alam mo naman si Joel (Lamangan), kahit maliit ang role, may impact. And I am happy na maging parte ng launching of these new talents.”

Chanda has been a very good friend. Especially if one is in need.

It took another friend (Logie Dujunco) to hook me up with her for that vaccine I have been longing to have in Quezon City. Everything just followed its course.

“We have to thank Councilor Lou Veloso of Manila. Mabilis. Maayos.”

Did the procedures. Registered. Then, a schedule was given.

Whatever help she may be able to give, whether sharing her talent as an actress or just lending a hand as a friend, this pride of Cebu truly is a gift!

“I am excited, too to see “Silab”. What our future stars were able to give sa project. With the few scenes I shared with them, I’ll give them a two-thumbs up. That’s a Joel Lamangan cue. Kung nagawa nila ng tama lahat is expected of them, and you hearing direk’s exact words about them, then we have new stars to watch out for.”

I will always remember that tito Dougs (Douglas Quijano) kwento about Chanda. The heavily-accented Cebuana who came to the city with only her “tampipi” filled with dreams.

Now, we have her. One of our best and finest.

Still doing what she loves best on TV and the movies! And is loving being part of the #Bakunada Club now!

How old is she again? Aww, never mind. As always, it is just a number! (30)
