Squatter No More. From Mariner. To Pageant King. Now Finding his Niche in Acting!

THE “P” TALKS!

BY: Pilar Mateo

THE STARS MUST HAVE COLLIDED FOR Ricky Gumera’s destiny in showbusiness to align.

In his first movie, “Anak ng Macho Dancer”, Ricky will prove to one and all that Godfather Productions’ top honcho Joed Serrano did not commit a mistake in opening a door to make him prove himself.

In a special press conference of Ricky in the pool side of the posh Makati Business City, the guy bared his heart, soul and body.

As he sashayed by the poolside and waters dripping all over his flexed body, back into the pool, coming out of the waters with such command of assurance, confidence, calmness and composure, the guy is sure to titillate the minds of the audience when they see him act out his character as Kyle in the Joel Lamangan project.

His moves were the product of his rehearsals that gave him the title Mister Global Philippines 2019.

“Wala pong maniwala na I was brought up by my Lolo and Lola in a squatters’ area.

Where his status in life is concerned, it was Joed himself who saw the life Ricky shares with his family. Trying to construct a solid roof for their house.

At the same time, in my case, pinahanapan niya na ako through my manager Meg Perez ng bahay na malilipatan namin for a year.

Apart from the bonus, the house and lot, and more gifts, Ricky and his fellow actors were given the chance by Godfather Productions to invest in the movies that it will produce. Whatever comes into the coffers will be divided among them plus Joed.

Which has made Ricky all the more ecstatic, he cannot stop himself from being so thankful and grateful to Joed.

The guy admitted that if Joed were free, he could have fallen in love with him. But no! All is done in the name of love and professionalism for the craft.

As he glided on the pools of Alphaland, Ricky even proved that he could follow in Jay Manalo’s (who portrays his father in the movie) footsteps as the new TOTOY MOLA!

“Nakakatuwa.

Sometime in December, “Anak ng Macho Dancer” will have its premiere (with uncut version) at the UP Film Center, from Godfather Productions in cooperation with Blackwater.
