NET25 launched a string of shows that will bring lots of entertainment for their viewers this month and the days to come.

The first teleserye to be featured is a romantic drama top-billed by two of the country’s new generation, who can be considered royalties in as far as their lineage is concerned.

Ynna Asistio is the daughter of once tagged as the Brooke Shields of Philippine Cinema, Nadia Montenegro and the late public servant Boy Asistio. Her aunts include Jaclyn Jose and Veronica Jones and a cousin to Andie Eigenmann.

Geoff Eigenmann is the son of award-winning actress Gina Alajar and Michael de Mesa, a brother to Ryan and AJ. He hails from a generation of true-blue artists as well.

So, in short, blood-related in real life?

In “Ang Daigdig Ko’y Ikaw”, they will essay the characters of star-crossed lovers Romer and Reina.

The teleserye boasts of a power cast.

And one who is included in the cast is award-winning actress, Elizabeth Oropesa.

“Short lang ang characters namin ni Richard Quan in the series. Pareho kaming special participation.

“Ako ang Good Mayor ng OLVIDA. Hoping that my son and the leading lady Ynna will become my daughter in-law. To make a long story short, Richard will try to save my life dahil may gustong pumatay sa akin.”

Work in the new normal.

“Surprisingly… work-wise, hindi naman ako naapektohan dahil palagi akong may work. I even produced a small bud movie to help (kahit paano) those na walang work.

“And I like the discipline.

“Medyo nahirapan lang ako sa new normal way of taping kasi sanay ako ng nakakauwi gabi-gabi after work. Iba yung nasa bahay ka syempre. Ngayon isang buwan bago ako makauwi!

“Alam ko na ang feeling ng OFWs. At ang nose swabbing every 2 weeks!!!! Hindi ko feel! I’m so lucky dahil I’m physically strong talaga.”

She herself is a frontliner, with patients who seek her help as a doctor.

“Clinic ko never nagsara. May mga COVID patients… online ang consultation.

“Erratic ang sched ko sa clinic dahil nga sa lock in working conditions.”

The calamities that hit us.

“I feel bad for the people and the animals na pinababayaan ng mga tao may kalamidad man or wala.

Ligtas kami at palaging may trabaho. At higit sa lahat walang sakit.

“Salamat kay Jesus at kay Ama. Lahat ay naitatawid.”

In a few weeks, Christmas is here.

“I would like to help as many people as I can this Christmas. Hindi lang ako mahilig sa Publicity when it comes to this. Hindi na kailangan. Basta alam ng Dios. Okay na yun. Hindi naman ako politiko. 😍”

Love in the time of pandemic. Your take.

“It is always difficult if you are away from each other. Syempre..bawal ang lumabas noon diba? But by golly! Ngayon ang maraming naiinlove because you have the time to really think and miss the person! Kahit sa mag asawa na. Lalong naiinlove sa isat isa. Honeymoon ulit! Hahahaha! Ang daming buntis itong year na ito. Ang names ng Babies, Quennie, Corona, Rolly, Ulysses.. 😍

“God is my spiritual World. Art is my “earthly World”. My family and dogs are my life. In that order to make it complete. Sila ang daigdig ko.”

Saturdays, starting this November, a new love story will unfold. (30)
