JAY SONZA shared this observation in his social media account:
“Tahimik silang tumutulong.
“Over the last few days, I went to check on some of the activities of known and unknown personalities during this period of ECQ.
“Here is what I gathered.
1. Matteo Guidecelli (the lead convenor) with wife Sarah Geronimo, Isabel Oli and husband John Pratts, Mr. Cipriano and wife Cheena, Piolo Pascual and son Inigo, Solen Heusaff and husband, and their group of friends called Landers and the Army Rangers are raising funds and distributing food supplies to less fortunate families.
“As of last monitor, they have raised over 38M and have reached out to some 2,000 families already. Ang ginagawa nila ay binigbigyan nila ng worth P2,000.00 food supplies and bawat pamilya. Patuloy ang kanilang ginagawang pagtatawag sa mga kaibigan at nangangalap ng tulong. Tuloy din ang distribution katuwang ang Army.
“BTW. John and Isabel are expecting their 3rd child. Sina Matty and Sarah are working double time for their first. Although kinakantiyawan siya na nakabuo na. Matty is all smile but would not confirm it. Piolo and family is constructing a vacation house in Batangas. Hindi nabanggit kong kasama sa quarantine his rumored celebrity soulmate Shaina.
“Back to Samaritan works. Husband and wife Dindong Dantes and Marian Rivera are cooking food everyday for our frontliners. The same is true with actress Judy Ann Santos and husband. Their home cooked food are also given to frontliners.
“Angels group of couple Neil Arce and Angel Locsin are building additional on site extension tents for Covid19 victims and frontliners.”
THEY are our heroes without capes! Let us continue to pray for one another!
AFTER her bout with the dreaded CoVid-19 virus, actress Iza Calzado shares what she went through.
Back in the arms.of her beloced Ben Wintle and their dogs, Iza continues to make herself healthier with yoga and other activities.
“Hello Everyone! It’s a brand new week and today I am grateful for my life.
“Most of you know what happened to me. Before I talk about it, I would like to address something. When I started getting sick, I made a comment on an IG post that was totally misconstrued. I understand how and why that happened and I am sorry if anyone was offended and felt bad about it. Please know that I would never ever intentionally say anything to hurt others nor celebrate anyone else’s suffering. I am a hopeful person and always try see the silver lining in every dark cloud. I am sad that you missed my heart (but I also understand your sentiments).
“After 2 weeks of battling Covid, pneumonia and a nasty bacteria called Acinetobacter Baumannii, I am alive and for that I am truly grateful. I know that so many of you sent your love and support and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you. Please know that even if I didn’t get to read all the messages, I felt the love and good energy and that you helped me pull through one of the darkest moments of my life. Everything by God’s Grace, of course, but your prayers did so much for me. I hope in some way, I can pay it forward.
“I wish to thank all the frontliners especially my doctors and nurses in Asian Hospital for going above and beyond to make sure I live, breathe and have another shot at life.
“To Dr. Jorge Garcia, Kuya Joel and the family, much love and respect. Thank you.
“Thank you for the support from my Kapamilya family who always checked up on me and made sure that I was fine until the finish line.
“My deepest gratitude to my friends, family who prayed HARD and really made me feel their love and care for me especially my number 1 nurse, my husband, Ben. I could never have done this without you, my Love. We did it, by God’s Grace, we made it.
“I have a lot more to say and I hope you indulge me as I start posting about my reflections, realizations and perhaps my purpose from here on forward.
“Today, I encourage you to take a moment, Thank God for Your breath, Thank God for Your life and everyone in Your life and let us continue to pray for those who are suffering and for those who are trying their best to help those in need. Together, we can overcome all of this. Mabuhay! ”
A new lease on life. What beautiful reflections to share!
