TWO Friends. Both singers and song-writers.
JC del Rosario IV and Jhunjie Dosdos collaborated to form a new band that will simply be called JC and Jhunjie. And playing the instruments with them are Eric Eudin and Reymar Gomez.
JC and Jhunjie were part of the recently concluded GAIA… Go Green Concert for a Cause for ABS-CBN’s Bantay Kalikasan, La Mesa Ecopark and La Mesa Watershed last January 19, 2020. They performed with Rocksteddy, Barbie Almalbis, Jeremiah, Shotgun Combo, Fireflies, Static Edge, Gin Rhum and Truth, and Souldrift.
JC hails from Quezon City, a recording artist, 2018 PMPC Nominee as New Male Recording Artist, Outstanding Performer and Muiscal Composer at the 2016 Dangal ng Bayan Awards for Music and Entertainment, PEOPLE’s Choice for Music and Entertainment Awardee during the 36th Consumers Choice.
Jhunjie is from Cebu and former member of the band Cueshe (keyboardist). He is the composer of Cueshe’s “Pangako”. He’s also the vocalist of “Fireflies”. The duo launched their single “Paniwalaan Mo” penned by JC with back-up vocals by Jhunjie and Eric and Reymar. They rocked the playground of almost all the bands that surfaced in the industry, in Bistro 70s in Anonas.
Someone came by to surprise the group. The Hurado of “Its Showtime”, a balladeer, and also a composer-the Rey Valera. Wgo happens to be my good friend, too! Thanks to Ms. Grace Quibol and Allan Sancon for making us meet another great band!
My travel agent friends shares this:
“PTAA invites top 10 most traveled influencers to TravelTour Expo 2020
“The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) is all set for the three-day TravelTour Expo 2020 at SMX Convention Center from February 7 to 9. Now on its 27th year, the highly anticipated event showcases the offerings of the most respected travel and tourism industry service providers.
“To make this year even more exciting, the PTAA released its list of most traveled influencers and celebrities. The group formed a three-person committee to come up with the list based on the stars’ social media posts.
“PTAA president Ritchie Tuano said, “We think these celebrities have really helped put the spotlight on various spots in the country, not to mention the world. The stories and pictures of their visits have encouraged other travelers and tourists to check out these places. Each time they go to a place, it’s seen as their endorsement of the destination. They have that effect — and our industry thanks them for it.”
“PTAA’s top 10 most traveled Filipino influencers and celebrities are:
- Tim Yap
- Heart Evangelista
- Lovi Poe
- Catriona Gray
- Pia Wurtzbach
- Vicky Belo
- Bea Alonzo
- Nadine Lustre
- Liza Soberano
- Maine Mendoza
“Tuano added, “We’re inviting our top 10 most traveled influencers to TravelTour Expo 2020. Who knows? They may get inspiration for their next travel destination from the event.”
“Entry tickets to TravelTour Expo 2020 may be bought at the SMX Convention Center entrance. The tickets cost PhP70 for general admission (including students and children) and PhP50 for senior citizens. The entrance is free for all Citi Credit Card Holders — they just have to present a valid ID along with their card.
