THE “P” TALKS!
BY: Throy Catan
IT was an invitation I couldn’t say no.
Child actor KenKen Nuyad who appears on “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” every now and then on the prime slot of Kapamilya, but most of the time dabbles in doing indie movies, requested that I attend the premiere of his new movie!
This time, he was cast in “The Fate” of director Rey Coloma.
The kid was excited when it had its premiere showing at the SM Megamall Cinema One.
Bida siya and Kelvin Miranda.
As early as 5 p.m., he and his family were already at SM Megamall’s Cinema 1. He kept on talking ro his cellphone-reminding friends about his invitation.
His only break or time out from the phone calls were watching the trailers that kept playing on the small screen about the movies being shown in the theaters.
And you know, he is wishing to watch even just one of those being shown.
But he is the one to be watched on the big screen.
How does it feel?
KenKen’s Mom was also excited to share the news that KenKen auditioned for an international movie that will be filmed here.
KenKen is keen on doing more films that his talent will be appreciated.
The important thing is for him to keep growing tall!
Para sa health niya,” the cool Mama said.
Producer Leny Flores Tamisin-Salig believes so much in her award-winning child star!
ON THE set of #TeamMSBs #CulionTheMovie of Shandii Bacolod, Gilie and Peter Sing and Iza Calzado, another child star got endeared to our hearts. Made our hearts melt.
Andrew Legados Figueroa is a ten year old who’s been a product of PETA. And has been working with veterans in the movie industry.
He was the son of Iza Calzado in “Pandanggo sa Hukay” which was one of the featured films in the recently concluded Cinemalaya 2019.
They had the chance to be together again in #CulionTheMovie.
We got to meet Andrew up close and personal on the set in Culion, Palawan where he also got the chance to find new friends in the island who shared scenes with him, kids from Culion’s Kalinangan Ensemble.
Andrew auditioned for his role in #CulionTheMovie.
He didn’t just pass it with flying colors. It seemed the role of Ding, the island’s “eye” in what was happening then was tailor-made for him.
A true-blue Kapampangan who’s still shy when it comes to talking about his acting skills!
