THROUGH the years, Rey Valera, Marco Sison and Dulce have already carved their own niches in the music industry, and have paved the way for more OPM singers to tread the paths they have journeyed on.
They never and will never tire of singing, and making music together.
On August 3, 2019 at the Music Museum, musical director Adonis Tabanda and director Calvin Murphy Neria will not just take us down memory lane, but we will be given a new take on the songs that catapulted them to stardom.
Producer Echo Jam believes in the talent of not just one nor three but more with “Miss Saigon’s” Thuy Gerald Santos, the Millennial Artist L.A. Santos and the Infinite quartet (Russel Dionisio, Psalm Miranda, Zillah Cabarles, Allan Alboladora).
Talking with the three stars (in their kind of music) is always a breeze because of each of the “hugots” they keep.
That time, amg mga Bisaya hindi pa tanggap. Hanggang mai-record ko na siya. Ginawang pang-masa.
Rey had his share when as a songwriter, he made someone promote his song.
There also came a time na merong gumaya sa akin si Rey Bolero. Hinabol talaga namin ‘yun. Nandun lahat, eh. Lalo na ang pag-asa. Kahit sa dilim…naghihintay pa rin…”
Marco’s “Make Believe” had an unbelievable roll into the music charts.
‘Make Believe’ was uniquely made.
“When I was young, naisip ko na hanggang 75 years old ko lang kakayanin ang pagkanta. As you get older, bumabalik ang mga fans mo. For as long as I can, I will sing pa rin kaya I have to take care of myself,” said Marco.
Dulce and Rey are “Hurados” in “TNT” or “Tawag ng Tanghalan the afternoontime show “It’s Showtime. Where their “Durey” love team was born.
Marco according to Rey si busy with his fighting cocks-his new business. Thus the Title The Cock for All Sison.
“I am writing a book. Long overdue na. Nasa Chapter 9 na ako ng 10 chapters of my life. “Stories of the Road”. No. Walang kiss and tell. May gentleman’s code of honor naman ako. Kasali doon ‘yung mga demandahan,” added Rey.
The members of the group The Infinite came.from different singing contests. And the Marketing Manager of Echo Jam, Ms. Grace (Bondad Nicolas) was the own responsible for bringing them together.
Different ages. Different strokes. Different genres. Each leading his and her own path in life. In school. In business. At home.
As far as the musical director is concerned this will pose a big challenge for him as for 10 years, most of the artists he has worked with are younger than this lot.
Said Direk Adonis. “My first time with the Legends. Kaya inspired and challenged.”
LA who was given permission by the Jukebox Queen Imelda Papin to revive her song “Isang Linggong Pag-Ibig” is looking forward to also singing the beyond timeline songs of the Legends.
Catch this awesome mix of the classic tunes with the new blend of songs. Old and new.
Enjoy the music of Dulce, Rey and Marco. The voices behind the hit tunes turned classic beyond timeline.
