SO happy to know that Ara Altamira is getting a lot of projects this 2019. She’s now part of GMA’s sitcom Daddy’s Girl starring Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza. She played a role as Chloe, Maine’s co-worker.
She also part of ABS-CBN’s Ipaglaban Mo, and two movies from Regal films like Papa Pogi and Stranded.
You’ve probably seen her in several teleseryes like Pusong Ligaw, Maalaala Mo Kaya, Asintado, Wagas and The Blood Sisters last year. A few years ago, she was one of the top 15 of Miss Popular DJ Hunt in Indonesia, and had a cameo role in an Indonesian film, Takut Kawin.
She also joined Star Hunt and dreamed to become one of the housemates in Pinoy Big Brother. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it to the cut. However, she still happy, because of her friend, Tori Garcia.
We had a short conversation last Friday, and she was willing to answer every question we gave her:
SNI: There are many talent shows right now. Have you tried to audition in Star Hunt or in other reality shows?
Ara: Actually, I auditioned for PBB so many times. I think four times. But in my last audition, I reached to the last part which is waiting for the call back from ABS-CBN. Unluckily, I didn’t make it, but I’m so happy that my friend received a call back. Her name is Tori Garcia.
SNI: What do you feel when you find out that Tori is now in Big Brother House?
Ara: I’m so happy that she’s now in PBB. She’s the first person I met when I went back here in the Philippines. I was always with her during mall shows. It’s great to call her “Bombshell Sweetie”, because she’s so sweet, and I always treat her like a little sister.
I remember when she wants to give me her cat, because she knows that I’m lonely in my condo. In our gig in Laguna, she offered me a ride so that I could go home safely.
SNI: Do you have any message from Tori’s fans?
Ara: Please continue supporting Tori. Whatever you see her in person, especially during her mall shows, that’s also what you see in PBB house. She’s very sweet, very accommodating to her fans. So, keep supporting her.
