LAST week, October 3, M. Butterfly announced the amount of money raised during the run of the said play.
According to their Facebook page, the play raised more than PHP 10 million for more than 20 charities, including the following:

- Philippine Stagers Foundation
- Teach for the Philippines
- Environmental Legal Assistance Center
- Love Lipa Foundation, Inc.
- SM Foundation, Habitat for Humanity
- 1 Meal
- UP SAMASKOM
- Ricky Lee’s Trip to Quiapo Workshops
- Philippine High School for the Arts
- PSHS Foundation Inc.
- Arko ni Apo Art Gallery
- Love is All We Need
- Dulaang UP
- Miraculous Medal Shrine Parish
- Calumpang Elementary School
- Hope 4 Change.
As of now, the Chrysalis Photo Exhibit is not included in overall sales. However, they will release the official details of everything they’ve raised for charity this week.
M. Butterfly received praise from both critics and audience alike, and because of the success, the cast and crew of M. Butterfly will start touring around the Philippines early next year. The start of the tour will kick off in Iloilo in the first week of January 2019. They also include Davao, Cebu, Dumaguete, and Baguio. So far, no further announcement on where the specific venue is, but they mentioned that they will have a collaboration with SM Cinemas.
The new production of M. Butterfly is directed by Kanakan Balintagos (director of Pisay, Busog and Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros). Produced by Tony Award Winner, Jhett Tolentino and Frontrow Entertainment. Also starring Lee O’ Brian, Norman McLeod, Mayen Estañero, Rica Nepomuceno, Maya Encila, Pinky Amador, and Olivier Borten.
