Gardo Versoza raises funds for operation of a sick kid through his Cupcake Bikers group

Last Saturday, December 23, Cupcake Bikers 143 oraganized a charity bike ride for Troy Terrence Legaspi, a 11-month-old baby boy with cervical meningocele.

“Cervical meningoceles are tethering lesions of the spinal cord that may cause biomechanical injury with repetitive flexion-extension movements of the head and spine. It is therefore advisable to remove these lesions neurosurgically as soon as the diagnosis is made.” This statement is according to


Cupcake Bikers 143 is a bike riders organization headed by Kapuso actor Gardo Versoza. It composed of more than six hundred bikers. Their main goal is to help the people in need and give scholarships to the children who want to continue their study. Also part of the charity event are Vladimir de Castro, Antonio Lampera, Allan Dugayo, Alfred Suelen, and many more.

He posted on his Instagram account about the details of the said event: “Sa mga nais pong sumama sa huling charity bike ride ng CUPCAKES para sa taong 2017 para maghatid po ng tulong kay Baby Troy, yung may bukol po sa litrato, bukas po ito, December 23, 2017. Ride out po sa McDonald’s Libis malapit po sa Green Meadows ay 5am. Para sa mga karagdagang detalye, mangyari po lamang na i-check sa Facebook page po na CUPCAKE BIKERS 143. Halfday VISA po lamang ang need dito. Marami pong salamat at maligayang pasko sa lahat. #cupcakebikers143″

Fortunately, the charity event was a success!

On the next day, December 24, Gardo visited Troy and his parents to tell the good news.  Gardo posted his picture with Troy and his parents. “Maligayang pasko po sa inyong pamilya lalo na kay baby troy mula po sa cupcake bikers. #cupcakebikers143” he said.
