Rejoice, Potterheads. The newest title of Fantastic Beasts 2 has already revealed. According to Warner Bros., the film is titled Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
The cast includes returning stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Katherine Waterston as Tina, Alison Sudol as Queenie, Dan Fogler as Jacob, and Ezra Miller as Creedence.
Aside from the title, they also announced their new casts including Zoë Kravitz as Leta Lestrange and Callum Turner as Newt’s brother Theseus, and Claudia Kim as Maledictus. However, the most talked-about cast are Jude Law as the young dapper Albus Dumbledore.
Johnny Depp (Gellert Grindelwald) is already part of the first Fantastic Beast movie, but on this new film, this will be an in-depth story about Gellert Grindelwald and why he and Dumbledore become enemies.
They also released a photo of two wands and it appears Johnny Depp is holding the legendary Elder Wand (left wand). In a book, the Elder Wand is the most powerful wand in the wizarding world, and Grindelwald stole it from a wandmaker named Gregorovitch. The right wand is Dumbledore’s older wand.
